Glycon3D's hand tracking system is designed to be both intuitive and powerful, seamlessly adapting to how you prefer to work. Whether you're using controllers or your bare hands, motion capture has never been this accessible.
Switch effortlessly between controller-based gestures and natural hand tracking
On Meta Quest devices, when you hold your controllers, Glycon uses the joysticks to create fluid hand gestures. Each direction maps to a specific hand pose, and the system smoothly interpolates between them for natural movement:
Ready to go controller-free? Simply place your hand controllers on a flat surface. Once they stop moving completely, Glycon automatically switches to natural hand tracking. Your avatar's hands will mirror your real hand movements with stunning accuracy.
When using hands-only mode, starting and stopping recordings is as simple as touching your wrist joint to the start toggle button. No fumbling for controllers – your body becomes the interface.
Smart Switching: To prevent accidental mode changes, switching back to controller mode requires pulling both triggers simultaneously – ensuring you only switch when you really mean to.
For Steam users with Valve Index controllers, Glycon automatically detects your hardware and utilizes the advanced finger tracking capabilities, giving you even more precise control over individual finger movements.
Position your toggle buttons and workspace objects exactly where you need them – all controllable through the controller interface. Access these settings through the Record screen menu to create your perfect capture environment.
Experience the future of motion capture – where technology adapts to you, not the other way around.
